    Default TinyUmbrella wrong ECID

    Hello,

When I use Tinyumbrella, it appears to not detect my ECID correctly. It still succesfully grabs .shsh from Cydia and Apple, but the ECID it lists does not look like a normal ECID. It is also not 16 digits long. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had some recent issues with TU and ECIDs. Its been telling me that fewer files where available from Cydia than Cydia actually had. Mod your host files and restore directly thru Saurik's server and see where that gets you.

thats not you ecid its showing you. Tinyumbrella wont show you you ecid.

nothing wrong with what you are seeing. If it says its saved, it is with the correct ecid.

It's the correct number. The only difference is that when you check the number yourself while in recovery mode, it's displayed as hexadecimal while in TU, it's displayed as decimal. Don't worry, they're exactly the same.
