Need to install terminal without using touchscreen

I'm not sure where this post was supposed to be posted.

So my friends bottom 1/2" of his touchscreen isn't responding, so he's getting the screen replaced. But in the meantime he needs to access some apps that cant turn landscape but cant use them as most apps' functionality is in the bottom bar. So my plan is to install VNC so we can access his phone from my computer. I was able to go to jailbreakme.com to install cydia, but cant search for vnc to install it since cydia cant turn landscape.

Is there any way to install ssh without searching in cydia? I'm lost at this point.

install SSH not terminal then?

You can use ifunbox it works like winscp where you can access the file system.
It won't do terminal functions though.

You can download the OpenSSH.deb and install it by putting it in
/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall
and then rebooting the phone. Same goes for terminal.deb
just search the web and you'll find it
