Iphone keeps restarting!!

the title explains it all but i did a master reset on the phone cause i bought it from someone which i trust so i know it wasnt him but it keeps restarting any suggestions?

This happened to my old iPhone when I would "reset network settings" the only option i had was to restore it and start over from scratch. Try holding the unlock and home button to force the iPhone off

master reset... is that a erase all content settings cause you can NOT do that on a jailbroken phone. It'll cause.. well endless reboot.
