I believe AT&T has an online service that can pull all of your contacts for you. I would call them.

All right hang on I'll try to find a way.

What kind of computer do you have? PC or Mac?

I think your best bet is to sync to outlook. Once you have synced to outlook, it's an easy process to get them from there to gmail.

Or just open each contact, and press "Share Contact". It'll allow you to send each contact by email or MMS as a .vcf attachment, and you can save that to most any other device.

Just plug your phone to your comp, click on your phone in iTunes, go to the info tab, click on the contacts check, then change it to yahoo mail or gmail or what ever, then write in your gmail/yahoo mail acc, click merge NOT REPLACE, and your contacts should be sent to your mail account, go log in to your mail account, click contacts see if they are there to be sure. That's how I backup my contacts, so now I have 3 mail accounts with all my contacts if my phone busts I can replace contacts with ease. Also backing up your iPhone I believe also backs up the contacts.

What you do is SSH (or use ifunbox) to the directory
    User/Library
    and save the folder AddressBook.
that is all your contacts. To replace just copy it back.

that's the easiest and best backup I can think of. It even saves the contact pics you put in there.

iTunes is not compatible with win7 live mail so I would do the SSH trick..
