iPhone sensor for call screen is messed up

Hello I jailbroke my phone (4.0.1) via JailBreakMe.com and after that and installing some things on cydia Whenever I make or take a call and put the phone to my ear the screen cuts off normally but when I take it down It stays off so I can't hangup unless I use the lock button but more importantly I can't perform functions like add a call mute, or even delete voicemail messages...Any suggestions?

I think it's your proximity sensors that's the issue. Did you have this problem before? If not then I guess try a restore and rejailbreak your phone to see if the problem remains.

I have this problem too. When I take it out of the case it doesn't have that problem. I use a flip case.
