vWallpaper added, iPhone Freezes!!

Hey everybody, I've got a pretty big problem right now unfortunately.

I installed vWallpaper for iOS4, which is just a release candidate. I added a video and tried it out as a wallpaper but now when I go to the home screen the phone freezes up completely. If I restart the phone I can go to the lock screen but as soon as I unlock it and put in my passcode it freezes again. I can't SSH into my phone either because I don't know the IP address.


Anyone know what I can do?

Never mind, I booted the phone in safe mode and was able to fix this error.

this has happened to me!!! how do you boot iphone into safe mode?!?!

same problem here... dont know how to boot into safe mode.. but you can try ispirit (windows application) open it connect your iphone through usb ispirit will detect then goto app manager tab then select installed packages from left then from right look for vwallpaper and skrewcommon and uninstalle both packages and then reboot your iphone..

springboard will put your phone into safe mode after 1 or 2 crashes this happend to me aswell a very dangerous program that fecks yer phone up

Did you install vWallpaper or did you just download a video in themes ? i want to install this but dont want any problems. Can somebody please advise. I am running an iPhone 4 on 4.1 (Limera1ned)

I'm using vWallpaper from the above repo on my i4 running 4.0.1

My wife also has it on hers running 4.1.

No issues at all with the vWall made for ios4. Hope this helps all of you.
