So I jailbroke my phone and installed backgrounder and I'm now I'm finding that some streaming music apps that I used to enjoy (soma.fm, ghostly discovery) won't continue to play when I background them. I don't think these apps have been optimized to work with 4.0, so I'm not surprised they can't multitask, but they always backgrounded just fine and yet now- they will not.

Does anyone know why this may be? I fully expected some apps to refuse to multitask until updated, but from what I'd heard, backgrounding still worked the same way it always did. Did something change?
