So whats the deal with 4.0 and Facebook, ebay, and other apps that......
........depend on auto refreshing when you re-open them. Ebay, facebook, an other apps that won't auto refresh now on 4.0 are really annoying. You have to manually refresh all those apps. Is it the backgrounding and do we just turn it off somehow or what? What's the fix?

If they refreshed manually, while utilizing the multitask feature of staying open i take our batteries would be eaten up pretty fast. We would have to auto-kill them eah time in the taskbar as well.

I just want them to work properly as they did. Right now on 4.0fw facebook and ebay and other apps have to be refreshed manually instead of auto refreshed when re-opened like they always have been. The multitasking seems to be holding them open from resettting when you re-open them.
The thing is that it does it on everything.... If you go into settings, then say.... mail and exit out to home..... tapping settings again you start back where you were instead of it resetting itself to the start of the setting screen.Last edited by one1; 08-10-2010 at 01:43 PM.

That is my beef with multi-tasking in 4.0 also. That is the reason I am not liking 4.0.

So no everything is killed, does nothing show up in the taskbar anymore? Are you holding memory better?

Holding memory? I don't have the type of problems that require me to keep my iphone hooked to a life support system and monitored 24/7.... I just couldn't use certain things correctly with multitasking enabled and now I can.
No other difference.
