ios 4.0 on 3gs, heres what it broke.

The new Photos app can only put 5 pics into the mail app. It is a serious part of my work flow to email 10 pics at a time. Also, it renames them terribly. Solution?

On a phone call, when the proximity sensor gets triggered the screen never comes back from black. Does anyone think a jailbroken app is doing this, or is it 4.0?

Also, what is the state of backgrounder on 4.0
Is there a way to set it up such that you can choose if you want an app to actually run in the background?

umm backrounder is working fine on 4.0.1 and yes u can choose which app u want to run in the background....

no, I want to choose every time I exit an app if I want it to run in the background, if I want it to us ios 4.0 backgrounding, or if it should just close
