iTunes quit recognizing either iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 2nd and 3rd gen?!!?!

Hi so today my iTunes just decided to not recognize my iPhone or both my iTouchs. I tried Apple's methods, and nothing worked. Also my computer recognizes my iPhone clearly, so I'm pretty sure this is an iTunes problem. Now I want to reinstall iTunes, but I need help, I have my backup files, I have 3 backups, one for each device. If I reinstall iTunes will I lose my backup's and all my apps?!?! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You can make a backup of the backups before you uninstall iTunes, or after you reinstall just reconnect the devices. iTunes will back them up again.
