SMS Balloons iOS 4 location
I am trying to change the colors of my SMS balloons and am having difficulty. I think I found the correct files, but they are blank when I try and open them in photoshop. If anyone knows where to find the correct files to change that would be great.

Got it, for some reason when I was using iphone explorer for Mac OSX it was not seeing the files correctly, but if I used ifile on my phone it worked fine, go figure.
I am wanting to also change the color of my keyboard, does anyone know the correct files for that. I looked in the directory where I thought it would be, but the artwork files did not seem to be there

I'm new to this as well, can you explain how to convert them to see them? I have looked at many @2x.png and regular.png files in the file system and when i download them, preview shows them as blank and photoshop tells me it can't open them. Can you provide some direction/insight? Also, I am not familiar with how to double the images in order to make them display properly.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Jason

Pull them to your desktop and then it will show a preview. Open in Photoshop. Press crtl+alt+shift+s in the bottom corner there will be 100% change it to 200 click save do both on them .png and @2x.png then replace back where you got them and you should be good to go

@jbrown ^^ use iFunbox to extract the files and then you should be able to see and edit them

Thanks, I got this part working, I am on a mac, so it took me a minute to figure out what the mac version of that command was. Does it matter if i save it as the png-8 or png-24?

Thanks, but I am on a mac and i couldn't find ifunbox for mac. I read in a few other forums that there is a lack of tools for mac in regard to this. But the thread was older. Any suggestions for a mac user? iPhone explorer?Last edited by jbrown705; 08-06-2010 at 11:31 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
