how to install ios 4.01??!!!

i just downloaded ios 4.01 and saved in my windows hard disk but i dont know hot to install it in my iphone 3gs. any help?

How did you download it and where from!

If you downloaded it from within itunes just choose update!

- connect iphone to itunes
- hold shift and click restore button and locate your ios 4.0.1
- and let itunes do the restore

Or instead of going through all that, since 4.0.1 is the current firmware just click the restore button in iTunes.
