Just create a transparent image and use it as the dock.

i've gotten some stuff to work... like sms tones, and the UIPopupAlert to change to the one I had with Matte Graphite but, those were the only two things i really changed out...
I REALLY do not want to use winterboard, and once I can actually get a decent theme put together, I'll just SSH everything into where they go...
I just want to reinstall Shrink and 7x7 springboard but, I haven't found/searched for a way to remove icon labels without winterboard...
thanks for the responses guys!!!

In iOS 4, BossPaper's "Hide Dock Labels" doesn't work correctly either. BUT if you combine the two, you can get favorable results.
In BossPaper, enable "Hode Dock Labels" which actually hides labels from all your icons too. Also, I have the "Under Winterboard" checked in BossPaper.
Then in Winterboard settings, check "White Icon Labels" and that should give you labels for icons but not for the dock.
