missing messages app icon
Can someone help, i synced my iphone 3g that is on 3.1.3 yesterday and when it finished my messages icon was missing. It had been in the 5 icon dock in the middle of it. My iphone is jailbroken with a sn0wbreezed ipsw. When i search in spotlight for messages it appears and i can use it, and i can find it in ifile but its no where on the springboard.

Check to see if the app is hidden. If you don't already have it, install sbsettings. Go to sbsettings and hit more. Then go to hide icons and make sure messages is set to on.

I heard this happened to users of Jailbreakme and a Cydia update fixed it, maybe it will for you
