3gs new baseband 4.0 jailbroken saved shsh saved in cydia

Please look at the pics below and explain this to me if 3gs cannot be jailbroken then what do you call this?....i kinda remeber what i did dont know if this will work for everyone but my 3gs is was jb on 4.0



buti used custom ipsw, snowbreeze 1.7 now i am not running 4.0 because i inadvertanly plugied into my laptop and went to 4.01 which killed my jailbreak., matbe we can figure out my mistake and help the big dawgs out like they need it...

3.13 can be JB without a problem 4.xx can not be with new bootrom

Yes 3GS phones can be jailbroken on 4.x, but they need to meet certain requirements first. The phone has to be on a jailbroken 3.x.x, and the phone must be able to accept a custom fw. If those two requirements are met then it's entirely possible to jailbreak 4.x

ok but i had 3.13 jb upgraded jb again isnt that the only way the shshs would show under my phone in cydia if i jb ..2 different firmware same phone see where i think i am going loom at the top of the pics., please explain if i am wrong or just got lucky

I'm not quite sure what your point is? If you had your blobs saved for 3.13 then cydia automatically saves 4.0 and 4.01 and any future ones.
With the new bootrom you can't JB 4.xx

ok thats what i was wondering since i saw the 4.0 blob at the top i thought it was jb because how else would i get to cydia without a jailbreak ...so that was telling me i jb and got to cydia but your saying thats incorrect

ok so now i just need to wait to jailbreak

The firmwares at the top of cydia just tell you which shsh blobs cydia have saved for you. If you have cydia at all you ARE jailbroken.

On 3.13 he is JB.
For 4.01 he has to wait.
