Reset my iphone 3G and now it wont turn on
I got my Iphone 4 and went to reset my old JB's 3G by doing a reset through general, reset, everything.
It said it would take a while but I came back and all I see is the apple logo. I tried turning it off by holding the power/sleep button, tried restarting holding the power/sleep and the home button and nothing.
I even tried using redsnow and JBing again and it gets to the pinapple and then hangs there for ages and doesnt change.
Can anyone help?

yeah I got most of the way into DFU mode but it just hang.
I remembered something about holding the power, up volume and the home button for 30secs to get to reset mode through itunes, managed to get into it and I think tis updating the phone using my laptop, so fingers crossed.

Never reset a jailbroken iPhone/iPod, this is always the result. You have to restore it and JB again. It's not a big deal, easily fixable, just annoying

You can't reset everything on a jailbroken device. Put your iPhone in DFU and restore it. As mentioned by Waleed786, it's fixable, but annoying.
