Anyone here have to return ip4 to best buy? should i?
ok so i've had my ip4 now for alittle over two weeks...i was using my other service (tmo) as well...anyways today was the first official day i used my phone all day at work and i've run into numerous problems....one time when someone called me and i went to slide to answer, the slider only would go half way and then snap back at the beginning, i tried 5 or 6 times with the same result and i missed the call...
then it was the the proximity sensor...i was on the phone inside a quiet darker room with my cheek flat against the phone on a 40 min phone call and at least three times the phone either muted, and or went onto speaker. after the call i noticed i was somehow on the home screen with the green "return to call" on the upper portion don't know how that happened i never hit the phone button while on that call...so i kept hitting the green button to return to the call it wouldn't do anything...then i tried to hit end call and that didn't work either i was stuck on the phone call and could not end it, i had to do a hard reboot to hang up...
so i bought it at best buy and i'm wondering if anyone has returned phones to them, do you think they'd give me a hard time about these problem? i'm i got like two weeks til my 30 days is up so i think i should get a replacement right? or should i return it to an actual apple store?
oh an on another note as well i bought one of the zagg ivisasheild online that i put on this phone...if i take it off can i reapply it? and if not do you think zagg would send me a replacement minus the shipping fees for the warrenty? thanks guys sorry had to vent, this is the first time i actually wanted to chuck this phone out the window...i've hung up on my boss three times today cause of the proximity sensor issue...ugh
I returned one of mine about 2 weeks ago with out any problems. If your wanting an exchange it take it to apple. ANd zagg will charge you the 4 dollar shipping fee i havent heard of anyone getting out of it.
Thanks yeah I know I gotta pay for zagg that's no problem. I just thought if I needed an exchange that I had to go back to best buy. Maybe I'll try my apple store since the best buy I bought it from says they don't have any in stock. Which I think is a crock cause when I bought the phone and asked about replacements the girl told me they keep a certain number of phones in stock that they only use for exchanges or replacements.
