Making notifcations push quicker

Anyway to make this happen quicker? Example, facebook. It's exactly 15 minutes between it being posted on FB and then notifying me on my phone. It used to be pretty quick but it seems to have gotten worse. If it matters, I am always on Wifi, I do know on 3G it depends on the coverage.

Same here, they seem to get slower as time goes on. I don't know if there is a way to change the speed though.

i think its meant to be every 15 mins it checks for new data
it you go into settings > mail contacts, calenders > Fetch New Data
youll see push and options saying
every 15mins
every 30mins
hourly
manually

that would only be for the
mail app, we need something for all notifications

Any info on this would be great, on my phone, sometimes it doesn't update, or I get updates right away, so I don't get this inconsistency at all.
