Enable tethering code

Hi, Does anyone know what system changes (code) needs to be run to enable tethering??? I'm looking for the functionality like the app Handy Light released (and removed) only a week or two ago.

Do you know/have access to an iPhone dev? Google iProxy and build the app your self. Pretty simple really

Assuming I do, I don't think iProxy is what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a way to enable the builtin tethering like the Flashlight app that got pulled last week. Does anyone know who built this app or how they did the magic tether enabling??

They used SOCKS, the same system iproxy uses.

OK, I'll bite. Are these suggestions something that will work on non-jailbroken iphones?
