Waiting to activate? Take some time?

I have a 3g on 4.0.1 JB and unlocked but this screen keeps coming up saying that my phone is waiting for activation and this may take some time...

What is that about?

This happened to me too when I unlocked it, but as soon as I put my t-mobile card in it, it said activated and the msg disappeared. Do u have a valid sim card in there?

I have a T mobile one in there but it is not a in service sim...Is there a way to check if I successfully unlocked it?

Well if the sim goes in and u don't get any notifications saying something like "invalid sim" then it should be unlocked. You need to insert a sim with service for the iPhone to "activate"
