Like when you hit send and wish you didn't?
Try hitting the power off button. That worked back in the day, still might

Powering it off will only work if your quick. Once the progress bar is gone the text is sent.

It sends a lot faster than it would take to power off. Sorry there's no "take back" button.

BiteSMS has a delay feature that can be set from 1-3 seconds. Within that time you can cancel the message. Saved my *** more than once.

yeah sucks! really wish there was a way to cancel sending the message. like the "send" button turns into a "cancel" button during sending. that would be ideal. hopefully apple will address it and help users like me out.

    prob not though

If you are jailbroke, install SMS Helper from Cydia. You can configure it's settings to enable send confirmation, which gives you a pop-up after you hit send that allows you to either confirm the send, or cancel.
