I went for the bumper. The apple store I stood in line for 15hrs at sold out of them about halfway thru the day so I bought the nicest case they sold at the AT&T store (that I will not be getting a refund for and somewhat bitter about... :-/ ) I know the bumper doesn't protect worth S**T but it's fine for my around-the-house clumsiness. Hopefully.. In 5 weeks or so...

How does the bumper not protect worth sh-t? With a drop test it took 4 long drops on straight concrete to break the panel on the phone. I'd say that's pretty damned good protection.

I was able to order 2 cases for free for the same line, nto on purpose sort of though.

See I ordered the Belkin Shield Micra Clear first and got the order confirmation.

After a day I got my Incipio Feather Case in Matte Black so I took the original screen protectors from my 32GB iPhone 4 and realized the Home button is malfunctioning.

Apple replaced it and I got a brand new iPhone 4 32GB with a different IMEI number and was able to order another free case.

The second one I ordered was the Griffin Reveal Etch.

HINT HINT battery isn't holding up swap it get another free case.

Went from $30 case for free to 2 for free.

Also the best case for pure protection is the Incipio Destroyer once it is finished being made........

Uses a special glass 70% stronger over steel.

Haha I've already had 3 drops to the concrete, the first one without the case :-/ So I should have explained myself better- I'm clumsy as hell so the bumper won't do me much good except when I'm in the house with carpet which is exactly what I want it for. Cuz if anyone could break an iPhone on carpet it would be me... lol
