Stay on 4.0 or update to 4.0.1!?!?

I have an iPhone 4 on 4.0 and i tried to get my 4.0 shsh about a week ago, it failed. i keep trying and now it tells me im to late! so im asking should i stay on 4.0 and i will eventually be able to get my 4.0 shsh? or am i sol and i should just update and grab the 4.0.1 shsh while i can? help please

I'd say hang on to 4.0 for now. The jailbreak isn't too far off.
