    Default iphone 4 activation

    is it possible, to go out and buy a iphone 4, not activate it, but still sync it with itunes and what not and use it as a really fancy ipod? so i could do like voip and stuff over wifi? please dont talk about the benefits about that, i just want to know

    It will need to be activated to be able to use it as an iPod.
