    Default Windows Vista not recognizing iPhone 3G 4.0?

    itunes will read my phone with no problems, but windows does not. I took a bunch of pics that i would like to get off of it from a reptile show. i've tried ifile and podtopc but neither work. anybody else having this problem?

    i even tried this.

    iPhone, iPad, or iPod is not recognized properly by computer when USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date
