I'm keeping mine, I have the signal drop issues and the proximity sensor doesn't work every now and again.
For the signal issue, I just hold it differently, and yes I am left handed. The way I hold it now feels normal to me.
The proximity sensor is what's really doing my nut in but it has only happened 4 times in 3 weeks. And we've been promised a fix for that in a future update.

I'm in it for the long haul. Besides we are like pioneers with the iPhone 4. Years from now when the iPhone 12 is out they will look back on us and say "now those iPhone 4 guys really had some balls."

I took mine into Apple last night for the proximity sensor issue and blue tooth issue. They replaced it with no problems.
I did not have the Death Grip issue. Now I do. =/

I thought they all had the death grip issue if you put your finger across the black line on the bottom left of the metal housing. Am I wrong? My toys:

So I set up a meeting at my apple store about my iPhone grip, proximity sensor issue (which is really not that bad as some of my friends) and also because when I receive a call and tap answer or end call my iPhone stalls a bit before it realizes it.... Not to mention I discovered a scratch (which really looks more like a crack) on the back of my iPhone... Y'all think they'll exchange it for me?

Why can't people just slip on a free bumper and stop whining about the reception problem?

So has anyone taken theirs and got it swapped for a new and DIDN'T have problems after??
I don't understand how only some phones have the problem and not all, if they're designed the same.

I heard apple made some improvements in the 2nd batch. I bought mine on July 11 and I have no reception problems or yellow screen problems at all.

If a jailbreak doesn't come out, I'm gonna wish I'd returned it.
Right now, I miss my beautifully customized 3GS.
