but i bet when u jailbreaked u enabled multitasking and homescreen wallpaper.
if u can just rejailbreak with redsn0w but not check it, it would be better.

4.0 is much snappier if done correctly

also look into disabling spotlight

Yes you can speed up your 3G and make it run like it was on 3.x just like ya man says here. Rejailbreak and have nothing selected. That will make it run nice and fast. And like the guy in above post says. Definatly turn spotlight search off if like 90% of others you don't use it. I think it's general>homebutton and disable from there. You'll think you had a new phone once that's done. And you'll still be on ios4 and not have the big headache of having to downgrade back to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2. Libusb can be a real ***** depending on what operating system your using. Mark my words. Lol

Delete your language packs my 3G on 4.0 has multitasking and wallpaper enabled and runs nicely with all 3000+ language packs gone.
