Unlock for 4.0?

My sister accidentally upgraded her firmware to 4.0 as well as her husband

Is there a way I can unlock these iphones?

3GS and 3G.

Baseband on the 3G is 05.13.04 not sure aobut the 3GS

The 3g is easy enough just follow this guide.

The 3gs is a little trickier.

Take a look at these guides and they should explain pretty well the requirements.

I can't get the wifi for the 3G working to install ultrasn0w. any idea of what might be causing this?

Try resetting your network settings. Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
