I swapped to a microsim in my 3G last night, after my old sim stopped working I inserted my micro and it asked me to connect to itunes, different sim detected.
First it came up with the message in itunes 'your phone has been unlocked' (I requested the unlock a few months ago at o2). I press continue - nothing.
Disconnect my phone, reconnect and the phone started to work.
Turned it off last night, turning back on this morning it asked me to connect to itunes. I went through the same process as above (first time says congrats, second time worked ok).
Just now I came to use my phone and it said to connect to itunes and I have just had to go through those steps again.
Am I missing something in itunes?
I am on 3.1.2 JB
Update on this, it seems to be each time I lose data, when my data connection returns I have to connect to itunes.
Must be something to do with the JB as my other non JB 3G accepted the new sim fine.

Wasn't aware that a microsim would fit/work with a 3g.This post infers no rights and is provided as is.
