touch screen problem

i have a 3g that i busted the screen in and i have replaced everything broken. everything works except the "O" spot on the screen when the phone is held upright position. what can cause this? i dunno what else to do with it.

hopefully somebody has seen this problem.

Make sure you ribbon is in tight. If you have to reseat the ribbon.
