That doesn't make sense. What crashes? The springboard crashes into safe mode? Every single app on your phone crashes? Only certain apps crash? Your phone powers itself off?
How did you jailbreak? Did you restore from a backup?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

right sorry i might of put this in the wrong section. it hasnt been JB its just standard on os4. when i open apps and it can be any of them it crashes.
sometimes it just freezes for a while, others it powers off and on. or it just goes back to the security lock screen.
it never did this before just since ive done the upgrade

Just do a factory restore to 4.0 and set the phone up as a new profile in iTunes. If you had it jailbroken before and use the "upgrade" button.. or restored from a backup then this is most likely causing the problems.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

it was JB on 3.1.2 but then i upgraded and went back to o2 because push wasnt working with t-mobile.
i will try a restore again now and see what happens

can any help my iphone 3g 4.0 safari crashes when i click a link in a txt message or email...... ive removed all the cydia apps i know of that would affect this but still no joy.... :-(

Safari crashes on me plus some apps crash at random the apps tho isn't apples prob but the os is have u tried restore without restoring from the backup

if you are JB and running OS 4, you need to look at this list. remove all apps that aren't supported at the moment.
My iPhone crashed on each boot repeatedly until I got rid of all of the offending apps. At this time, you must wait for more community support
