    Default Send SMS from PC
    Hi,

I searched forum for 'send sms from pc' and came up with a couple posts, but way back 2008 (link below).

I have 2G with 3.1.3 and would like to read / write text msgs on the pc screen via my phone network (like I could with Nokia OVI suite).

Is there a cydia app that makes it possible to Send SMS from PC ?

To give you more explanation, I often paste sentences from websites (lyrics, foreign characters, etc). I can't simultaneously do that on an iPhone without closing/switching between safari / mail and my dictionary apps don't even let me copy/paste the results.

Is Veency still the way to go or is there an easier more streamlined addon without needing to separately SSH, tunnel, etc?

    Thanks for help.

I used 91 PC Suite for iPhone for this purpose. The SMS pop up on your monitor like an AIM chat.

Download iPhone PC Suite English Version for Windows 7

    Hi,

I downloaded from the link you gave me at blogsdna.com linked from ModMyi Forums - Downloads - iPhone PC Suite Eng v0.2.1 by @melete but the app has an unexpected exception when launching.

'Object reference not set to an instance of an object'

Are there any settings you need to add before opening? Does this launcher work on WIN XP or only WIN7?

Here is the detailed error report:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Hi, sorry the link didnt work.

Try downloading this version of the software: Codecs.com :: Download iPhone PC Suite 2.8.10.135 : iPhone PC Suite is an interesting iPhone manager

I just installed this version on another PC and it's working fine. The program is in Japanese by default, so you'll have to change it to English.

    - iPhone PC Suite has the English language file included in its LangPack folder. To make it default you have to run the installer first - of course . After the installation process is complete, close the iPhone PC Suite and go to: My computer > C Drive > Program Files > NetDragon > 91 Mobile > iPhone > LangPack, and delete everything, excepting the "en-US.lang" file.

I should note, immedietely after installing it will open a box in japanese, with an OK button at the bottom. If you click the OK button another box will open, but the OK Button will be grayed out. The Japanese text is telling you to restart your iphone. After you restart your iphone, you can click the box and hit the OK button... Or if you like, just end the process when the first box pops up, and delete the language files as I pasted before. When you run Iphone suite again, these boxes will be English.
