Something odd is happening when I enter cell numbers to txt message in the "To:" tab

Before I downgraded to 3.1.3 and jailbreak it, whenever I typed in a number for example "0212181272", it will automatically space out to "021 218 1272"

Now it's just combined together to "0212181272"

But when I add in the area and country code to like "+64212181272", it will automatically space out to +64 21 218 1272"

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
