    Default Silly question I know but what is the old bootrom?

    I have a 3GS and currently have 3.1.3 jailbroken and would like to to upgrade to 4.0 and jailbreak it. Now every guide I've seen only says you can do it with the old bootrom. I don't know if I have the old bootrom or not.

    Search for a guide on how to find it. You can use this site or google, either will do.
