iOS4 Battery Percentage
Was recently using 3.1.3 JB with Spirit, then upgraded to iOS4 and have not jailbroken since... but I have noticed a difference between my fiances 3G and my 3G (which are both now on iOS4).
Mine still shows the battery percentage all the time in the top right by the battery meter.. Her's however does not.
She was never JB'd.. I of course was and was using the battery percentage utility (I can't rem exact name of it)..
Does anyone else have this?

Yeah it stays with the phone for some reason. I also changed my carrier name to my name, and when I restored my new iPhone 4 from a backup of my 3G my name came over with it as well.

I noticed the same thing on my 3G. I was jailbroken on 3.1.2, then upgraded to 4.0.1, which got rid of the jail beak but the battery percentage was still there. There is another thread about this as well, apparently it's just some sort of quirk.
The 3G never came with, and still does not have a battery percentage option. Apparently the 3GS and 4, do.

Some things get carried over from jailbreaking when you restore from backup. Even when you install a stock firmware.

Yeah but the op has a 3G. That setting only exists on 3GS and 4.
