Iphone 4 fake carrier

I just recieved my new iphone 4 today from the at&t store. i come home and i restore my phone from an old 3gs jailbroken backup. and after its done restoring i notice that the carrier is stuck as Ryan, which is my name and the fake carrier settings i had used on my old phone. i called apple just to make sure that that wasnt some new feature that it shows your account name up there. So i am just wondering what this means for my phone and if this could give anyone insight to any new jailbreaking for the iphone 4.

Fake carrier and battery percentage are the two things that carry over if you don't do a DFU restore.
You will almost certainly have problems if you didn't restore to iOS4 and set up as new.

I wonder if changing "No SIM" in ifile would carry over?

Just restore it and DON'T restore to a 3gs or earlier backup, set up as a new phone and you should be set.
