Bad Reception 3GS - Warranty Claim-able?
Hi
So basically I've got this 3GS, which was a warranty replacement from a couple of months ago. I am still under warranty until November I believe. Recently I have noticed my signal seems to randomly drop (from 3G full bars to "Searching..") which I was concerned about. Today I made two consecutive phone calls to different people in different areas, both complained I had a bad line. Could my phone be faulty?
If so, I would like to get it fixed ASAP whilst the phone is still under warranty!
Any help appreciated!

Okay just a quick update since I've had no replies! I've booked to go see someone at the genius bar on Saturday. Ive atarted receiving "Could not activate cellular data network." messages even when I'm on 3G connection, any clues?

Sounds like you most likely need to restore or call ATT to reprovision the phone.

I have jailbroken my phone in the past, however I am currently on 4.0 retail firmware. I'm on O2-UK by the way.
Thanks

Put in recovery mode and restore, if that doesn't work take it back if it is under warranty!

Okay I plan to restore before I take it down anyway, since they recommend trying that. Does anyone know how likely they are to repair or replace the phone? Thanks

Thanks, that sounds okay! Hopefully it'll get sorted out. I'll post back here when I've been.
