background question
Is there a way to close an app so that it doesn't continue running in the background? I know you can stop them after the fact but I'm just curious if I can save a step and immediately close them completely.

If you're jailbroken, try the app "Remove recents" by bigboss. I haven't tried it myself, but it should do close to what you're asking.

Yeah I'm on the iPhone 4... guess I'll have to wait for a jailbreak!
