Backing up your iphone but not over writing your previous back up

AT&T told me I should back up my device and then restore it. I can't find the selection to back up my device WITH OUT it over writing my previous one on the 23rd of June. How can I create a new back up file separately?

It stores multiple backups. You can view them under the Devices tab of the Preferences menu in iTunes.

When you restore, just choose the one you want - easy!

in order to be sure you dont lose your prev backup, I would change the name of the phone in itunes and THEN make a backup
