    Default Selling iPhone 4 question

    Hello everyone,

I bought an iphone 4 today and i want to sell it, but i am confused.

What i dont get is how are people selling their phones, when the specialist asks you for your phone number, the primary plan holders ssn and the data plan you want to chose? They allow you to activate it at home, which isnt the problem. Im just not understanding procedure:

how are you supposed to sell a phone that is under your name and plan, with your phone number attached to it, to someone else? What are you supposed to tell apple and/or AT&T that you dont have your iphone4 anymore??

    please help...

    come guys help me.

ATT does not really care the moment you walk out the door other than you signed a 2 year contract with them no matter what phone you use. Also some people have several lines which they don't plan on upgrading and use that one to buy one just to sale for higher price.

Once you take out the SIM card and put it in a different phone their system can actually register what new device you have.
