Default Apple Charging Retail Price Taxes on Phone?
WOW called my local Apple store and asked for a quote including taxes out the door, as I might try to get a phone in the morning.

The Apple rep quoted me 362.00$ total for the 32GB? Is it different from online to in-store how much were you guys charged total?

The lady said they are charging taxes for the retail price of the phone, which seems absurd.

    Cali right?
That sounds about right. Apple taxes according to the unsubsidized price of the iPhone. That's what I got charged last year with the 3GS. But this year for some reason I only got tax 25 bucks.

Come buy it in Alaska. No sales tax. I love coming home for the summer.
Have they released the jailbreak in the app store yet?

I always got charge full retail tax price, even with my 3GS last year! And also with my new iPhone this year! But for a 32gb in orange county, the price is 360.16!
