    Hello,
    I was wondering what happens with NOT unlocked (yet activated) iPhone after wrong SIM card is inserted. Does it fall again into the before-activation mode, which means I can't use it for anything? If I would find myself in the situation like this, can it be fixed without buying proper sim with some utility?

    You will just get a message saying "invalid sim".
