iPhone 4 issues
I didnt plan on getting mine until the white comes out anyway, but hearing about the problems with 1) reception drop due to holding phone by its sides and 2) the yellowing line from the phones's retina display has gotten me paranoid.
Im one of the T-Mobile users who have to spend $600-$800 on this phone...so I am pretty scared about buying a phone with flaws.
My question is... Do you guys think Apple will recall the iPhone 4? Do you think they will fix the issues before the white version release?
I am more paranoid about the yellowing screen cuz I read that the bumpers should fix the antenna issue. Hmm...I know all we can do is wait and see but Id like to see some opinions.

(knocks on wood) I'm not seeing any yellow on my screen. I've read the reception issue is just a software problem that will be corrected in an update.

Im not too concerned for the reception issue. Im REAL concerned about the screen yellowing :/ hopefully that doesnt happen to yours. I hope they will fix the screens on the white ones!
I was just thinking too how long it would take before the yellowing begins. Apparently that applies to within 24 hours if the phone was just released. Hopefully it doesnt turn up a couple months after...

Yellowing is supposed to dissipate with time. When holding my phone in my left hand after AWHILE i lose one bar some times...nothing like the vids. Oh and my screen is pristine...Even if you are afraid of defects, since you havn't gotten one already, by the time that you do, there should be plenty of replacements for you if yours ends of being defective.

Well its good to see that 2 people have good screens on their 4's...
Anybody that has the yellowing occur? Im still gonna wait for the white

My screen isn't yellow, I have 5 bars while holding my phone, and my bluetooth works great with my motorcycle helmet. I love this thing.

The yellow screen is actually the special bonding agent apple is using to stick the glass to the phone.
The yellow is actually due to the glue agent not fully being evaporated.
Apple says a while of on screen use should help make the evaporation take place faster.
PWNED! NO MORE YELLOW!
Come on all they are doing is making big deals out of the smallest things.

Just got my new iPhone 4 today. The antenna issue doesn't bother me at all. It does affect my phone but to get it to I have to hold it at such an awkward angle I would never have a problem. As for the yellowing screen if it happens it happens. According to Apple it will fade, but I'm not sure if I believe them. If it doesn't they will replace it.

I was paranoid about both of those issues as well. I preordered through ATT store (god knows I tried every other way) and thought apple would try to hurry and ship shoddy phones out before they were ready.
Thankfully mine arrived today in terrific condition. No issues whatsoever. Now I just need modmyi to put up another giveaway thread
Bottom line: if you really want a white one, just wait for the white. If you cant wait and won't mind coming to the dark side, might as well pick one out now....my .02

I've got a wifi issue. I cannot get it to stay connected for longer than a couple of seconds at a time, if that! I can get my 3GS (JB 3.1.2) to connect just fine but this 4 is not having it. Ugh Any ideas?

I had that issue with WiFi, I logged into my router from the Mac, went to wifi device list, removed my old 3G iPhone from the list, then rebooted the router. My iPhone 4 worked just fine after that.

No issues with mine, i held the problem area and one signal bar dropped, but didnt drop the whole signal.
No yellow either on the screen.
Guess its just luck on which batch you get.
