Why should i upgrade?

Im not a technical person when it comes to iPhones but i recently jailbroke my 3G using spirit, im currently running 3.1.2 and im really happy i have it all set up how i want.

Why should i upgrade to the new software?

Also i dont know how i would go about upgrading... restore/upgrade whats the difference? What do i lose?

Honestly if you are satisified I would stay where you are!

Only thing I see new in IOS 4 is the multitasking and the folders thing!

id stick with your setup. My friend upgraded (added multitask and folders) and his phone got super laggy and unresponsive. Maybe his 3g couldnt handle the extra add ons Dunno but ill be staying on 3.1.2 on my 3gs until stability improves with jailbreaks and compatibility issues and such. (2 weeks or so)
