Like the folders, like the dock (may even keep it after the iPhone 4 jailbreak), like the double tap to switch apps, like basic multitasking, like everything about mail app, like that you can set wallpapers finally.
Hate the fact they said 'in app sms' multiple times but have not expounded on it nor included it, hate that going back to homescreen leaves the stupid folder open, only 12 apps per folder artificial limit, still the same 6 lame *** stupid text sounds, no field test mode, still no alarm setting for songs already in your iPod app (stupid this can't be done), hate that you can't set sms background, hate Steve Jobs and his controlling attitude about disk storage for the phone, STILL can't save documents for later viewing, STILL can't save videos in youtube to view later.

Maybe with jailbreak, all will be possible.
Asking for help is different from being stupid. Fanboys can rot in @#$%!

I like the folders, way better then categories. Who cares that you can only put in 12 apps. I went from 8 pages down to 3, if you want just create more folders. If you fill up one page with 12 apps in each folder, that is 192 apps all on one page. I think you guys are just looking for things to ***** about, just like the mywi cost.

How about the security glitch of the save state of the apps being multitasked?
Only had time to test it on one app but open an app that makes you use a passcode to get into it; iBank is my example. Then close out of it. iOS auto save states it instead of closes. So then you can wait if you want or not. But then open the app back up and it will still be logged in.
I see this as more of a security issue if you don't have a lockscreen passcode and an app like 1password open. But worth mentioning.
Anyone want to try it on other apps and see if it was only my problem with that one app? I have 1password but have yet to setup and sync it to my desktop client.

1password makes you re-enter the passkey, so the security glitch is the app, not iOS4

Okie Dokie. So the app makers need to update to fix this issue with multitasking. Well worth making sure on other apps that use passwords to get in. But I am glad 1password corrects it.

I hate how the digital clock that used to be in the Status bar has been removed which now I have to lock my phone and check my lockscreen for the time.... Anyone know how to add the Clock back because its really annoying.

I just went to Settings/General/Reset and clicked on "reset all settings" and that did the trick... I think it didnt show due to the fact that I backed up my jailbroken 3G prior to syncing my iPhone 4 and when it finally synched (the iPhone 4 that is) I noticed that my blanks that I created via iBlank were added to my iPhone 4 which I needed to delete. So maybe during the sync it added my MakeItMine configuration from my 3G as well which could explain the clock issue occurring...

Well 4.0 has been good to me till today. It has been freezing for a min or two several times today. I have been getting text and phone calls and each time during a phone call it freezes if I get a text.

I pretty much like everything about it. Runs blazing fast on my iPhone 4. Love folders and multitasking. I find my self rarely opening something on the springboard anymore.
I don't like the 12 app cap. And to the person that thinks we are just ********. There are some of us that like as minimal icons as possible. I ussullu use 4 categories. Now I m forced to classify each category and make more of them

Id like to see a "Kill all apps" icon like the Experia can, it would save time clicking all the apps individually to shut them down

I love the HD video! Unbelievable how great the video is. The feel is different, I will get used to it, on the older phones, I could tell which side was front versus the new one being flat on both sides. Over all I love this new phone! Can't wait to get MyWi on it -

Dont mean to go off topic concernig faves/hates but yesterday when I did the "reset all settings" to fix my no clock at the top issue, this created another issue. After the reset, it somehow altered the passcode lock time selection from all of the choices to only "immediately" (see screenshot)....anyone think they know how to fix this w/o a OS restore?

Unified inbox and threaded emails are great!
Even on my old 3GS (love referring to it like that now!) the OS felt incredibly snappier and responsive than 3.x.
Hates:
No quick-reply/send features.
No sbsettings like features. I shouldn't have to go through 5 screens just to turn on/off Bluetooth, wifi, etc.
No lockscreen or even statusbar notifications!
