IOS 4 Help
Hey guys, I have an iphone 3gs running 3.1 firmware currently. It is jailbroken also. What I want, is some good steps on what to do to get ready for ios 4. I was going to backup all my stuff on the saurik server from cydia, but that option seems to have disappeared? I know there is an app called aptbackup, but that only makes a list of installed apps and doesn't save setting and other things.
Also, can I update right from 3.1 to 4 when the jailbreak for the 3gs is released? And do I have to unjailbreak it first?
Some good advice would be most appreciated and any other tips would be great. Thanks!
P.S. I have a good number of cydia apps installed like 5 icon dock, 5 icon row, sbsettings, etc if that helps

What I would do is; sync your phone, back up your camera roll, write down or use aptbackup for your cydia apps. Then restore to iOS 4 and set up as new phone so you have a clean slate, and then jailbreak and sync.

ok. I got aptbackup, but I noticed that doesn't save settings and all that. Would pkgbackup be better? I also have a paid version of diskaid. What files to I have to copy to manually backup?
