Getting $ 10 Unlimited Mobile Internet on iPhone ??

I heard that some people were able to stick their SIM card in a Mobile phone, activate the cheap $ 10/month unlimited Internet plan and then re-install the SIM card back into their iPhone for unlimited Internet. This is a Canadian thing but I have heard that some are able to get this program? I don't know if Smart phones in the US are able to do this too? I'm looking for a cheap way to get data of course! I already like the WiFi component of this 3gs phone.

I did this with a small mobile dealer in my area. Look for one in yours.

I don't know about other carriers but I'd assume its the same as AT&T. They can see you are using an iPhone and will tag on a iPhone data plan

I might give it a try and see what they do, I can switch it back to the mobile phone all day, if they want to do things this way. We'll see!

If data rates weren't so expensive in Canada no one would be plotting strategies like this in the first place, thanks again.
