upgraded to os4 from a jailbroken iphone 3gs 3.1.2 and got this.

please help, I really would like to know the time. I'm so angry it did this when I upgraded to 3.1.2 as well and I had to downgrade-then rejailbreak-then i had to ssh into my iphone to get rid of the balah blah blah blah thing.. I had SBSettings installed and I had the status bar say the date. I knew the date would go away but didn't expect the same from the time.. please help me..

Have you gone into your settings and checked the date/time settings?

Yes, that's not the issue I think it has something to do with me having the statusbar edited with sbsettings before I upgraded. Cuz like I said it did this before.

Anyone else having this problem? Or am I the only lucky one
