How Do I Install Only Parts of a Theme?

I downloaded a couple of winterboard themes for my iphone 2G running 3.1.2. I got 2 questions:

1) The themes dont install. How do I fix this?

2) How can I install only parts of a theme? For example, if I only want to install the theme for the calendar or clock. How do I do this without installing the whole theme?

1. Could you go into more detail, what do you mean by "the themes don't install". Are you not able to download them from cydia, or when you check them in winterboard are they not applied?

2. You can SSH into your phone and either delete the unwanted parts from the theme or you could copy the parts you do want to a new theme.

tjfitz7, the theme i'm trying to install is Eternal v1.4. When I choose it as my theme in winterboard, it doesnt load up.
