New to iphones HOW DO I USE RINGTONE
Ok so I baught "Ohne Dich" by rammstein off itunes because apple said the only way to make a ringtone is from buying off itunes.
Turns out it says "can no longer be used as a ringtone".
So i just spent $1 on a song I already had..
I tried another tech that asks you to right click the song on a playlist, change the start and stop time, then right click again and "convert to aac".
Unfortunetly there is no "convert to aac".
Anyhow im starting to get ticked off here, I just want a custom ringtone. Im willing to pay up to $3 if its an app, im just sick of the plain jane ones on the stock iphone an I do NOT want to have to buy tons of itunes songs just to find one thats still available for a ringtone.
Someone help me out
Thanks, The noob
btw its a 3g

After trying this method and you still think its too hard, well then you got a long road ahead of you in life because this is the easiest thing in the world (I just wish women were this easy! HEY OHHHHHHHH lol)... hope this helps.

I dont have a jailbroken iphone or plan to have one
I just got this and a 2 year contract, I have had the worst luck you can imagine lately.
(just imagine your fiance cheating on you, dumping you after taking 5k of your money and you being forced to sell EVERYthing you own to survive) and you can just taste a hint of my troubles.
So adding a broken or non functioning iphone I just spent hours configuring :P
Anyone know an app or a way to find out what songs can be used?

i posted a blog that is for any iDevice, non jailbroken or jail broken.
Create iPhone ringtone’s Jaybreese's Blog
It looks long, but once you read through it, it is quite simple.

You can convert any song in iTunes without the need to purchase anything.
